Padmasambhava Festival Day

10.30am to 4pm

Join us at the Brighton Buddhist Centre for our next festival day, celebrating the greatly precious guru, Padmasambhava, a semi-historical and mythical figure, who was crucially involved in the introduction and establishment of Buddhism in Tibet and often regarded as the second Buddha in Tibet – the prime example of a guru or even, the archetypal guru.

With talks, meditation, ritual and a shared vegetarian/vegan meal.

All welcome, no need to book, by donation

The Day’s Full Programme:

9.30am (Order Members only) Padmasambhava Sadhana.

10.30am Doors open for tea and coffee.

11am Gather in the Shrine room for welcome, salutation and meditation, followed by invocation and Padmasambhava puja.

12.45pm Shared lunch – please bring (labelled) vegetarian / vegan foods to share

2pm Return to the Shrine room for afternoon activity – exploring cantos from the Life and liberation of Padmasambhava.

4pm End of day and clear up.
