We’re sure that you’ve probably heard this wonderful news by now…
Brendan Rimmer from the Brighton Buddhist Centre becomes Vīryadāka (long i and long second a), a Sanskrit name meaning “He who gives energy”. He was ordained by his Private preceptor, Maitridarshin at Guhyaloka Retreat Centre in Spain on Thursday 24th September.
We will be welcoming Vīryadāka back to the Brighton Buddhist Centre at a very special evening, next Wednesday 7th October, 7pm to 9pm in the Top Shrine Room.
Please do come and join us to welcome Vīryadāka back as our newest Order Member and hear him and Maitridarshin talk about the experience of ordination and what it means personally, to the Brighton Buddhist Centre and to our order.
All very welcome, no need to book, by donation.
Would you like to offer to join a small team to help run the evening – preparing and serving refreshments, welcoming and directing visitors, etc? Please contact Shuddhadhara if you can help. Thank you.
