Fifty years ago Sangharakshita delivered four lectures in Brighton at the Royal Pavilion entitled Buddhism for Today and Tomorrow. They’ve become known in the Movement as The Brighton Lectures:
Now in 2026, four of the most inspiring and much-loved members of our order, Mahamati, Vishvapani, Parami and Subhuti – will be coming to the Brighton Buddhist Centre in May to revisit these talks:
Wednesday 6th May – A Method of Personal Development with Mahamati
Wednesday 13th May – A Vision of Human Existence with Vishvapani
Wednesday 20th May – The Nucleus of a New Society with Parami
Wednesday 27th May – A Blueprint for a New World with Subhuti
All sessions are 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
