Doors open 6.30pm
The evening will start at 7pm and end by 9pm
With a warm welcome Sthanashraddha and the Men’s Evening invite the whole Sangha to this special evening where we host Padmapani presenting his journey through Nepal and Mustang that took place in the summer of 2025. Padmapani has undertaken several trips through the Himalayan region over the last few years and has a wealth of experience both of Tibetan Buddhism and also the area.
In his own words this trip was, “A pilgrimage to the upper Kingdom of Mustang in Nepal during May/June of 2025…to Participate in the Annual Tibetan ‘Tiji’ festival, a three day spring festival of Tibetan ritual dances performed by the local monks of the Shakya monasteries. The dances are attributed to the great yogi saint Padmasambhava used to herald in the spring by a renewing of the land and banishment of negative forces.
Light refreshments and snacks will be available and all dana from the evening will go towards the “Guhyaloka for the Ages” campaign to fundraise for vital refurbishment and rebuilding of the Men’s Ordination retreat centre in the Spanish mountains.
All very welcome, by donation. No need to book, but please RSVP here to give us an idea of numbers for food.
