This course will introduce you to two core meditation practices: the Mindfulness of Breathing, and the cultivation of Loving Kindness. We will also be looking at the Buddha’s teachings on the “Worldly Winds” – how we are tossed around in our lives by four pairs of opposites; Pleasure and Pain, Gain and Loss, Praise and Blame, Fame and Disgrace, and offering practical methods for dealing with them in our lives.
