Mitra & Order Member weekend retreat 2017

Exploring the Three Levels of Wisdom.

with Vajradevi

We will gather at Rivendell, where Spring will be tentatively emerging from the dark stillness of winter, or already robust in its colour and vivid growth. The same wide spectrum can be seen in recognising our own wisdom manifesting in subtle shades of ‘knowing’ or brightly illuminated flashes of ‘seeing’ or simply speaking from a new place in yourself.

The weekend will explore what the 3 levels of wisdom are, through input, meditation, reflection and ritual. We’ll look at how the wise and kind heart already manifests in our lives and what are the conditions needed for a full flowering of insight through body, speech and mind.”

Come along and enjoy a weekend of Buddhist practice with the sangha, in the beautiful surroundings of Rivendell Retreat Centre, at the edge of the Ashdown Forest.

Some of you may remember Vajradevi from the Order/Mitra retreat last summer at Kench Hill. She’s been meditating 31 years and over the last 15 years exploring meditation based on the Satipatthana Sutta. Since 2007 she has also been meditating in Myanmar with Sayadaw U Tejaniya. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a Sangha and have the benefit of a very experienced meditation teacher.

If you’d like to read about Vajradevi, see her blog: https://uncontrivedmindfulness.wordpress.com/
