Learn meditation in Brighton
You can learn to meditate at the Brighton Buddhist
Centre.
The Brighton Buddhist Centre (fwbo Brighton) is open to the public on
weekdays from 12.30 to 2.30pm and offers courses and classes in meditation,
Buddhism and Yoga for all levels of experience.
The Buddhist Centre is affiliated to the Friends
of the Western Buddhist Order (fwbo) which was founded in 1967 by Urgyen
Sangharakshita. We aim to apply the principles of meditation and Buddhism
to modern life. There are many such Buddhist Centres throughout the UK
and world dedicated to making meditation and Buddhism accessible to all.
The
Brighton Buddhist Centre (fwbo Brighton) has been a registered charity
since 1976 and has taught meditation and Buddhism to many thousands of
local people from Brighton and Sussex over this time.
There are disabled facilities and wheelchair
access to the whole building.
