Going Deeper: Meditation Days
These Sundays provide a context to practice collectively and explore aspects of meditation. Suitable for people who have attended Part 1 & 2.

2.30pm - 4.30pm  Interfaith meeting on theme of peace and reconciliation, open to all

26 September      The Joy of Awareness      Vajradevi
10.30am - 4.30pm
Day Retreat on the Satipatthana Sutta
for those with at least one year's meditation experience. A day of practice, input and discussion drawing from the Satipatthana Sutta.
Vajradevi was pivotal in the creation of the Akashavana retreat centre in Spain and has studied on retreats in Burma and the US with renowned teachers in mindfulness.

17 October     Mantra and Meditation day     Mahasukha and Dharmavasita

24 October     Movement and Meditation Day    Tejamitra and Zanubia
10.30am to 5.00pm
Dancing to recorded music with sitting meditation to develop greater body awareness and to integrate moving with the body with meditation practice

31 October    Meditating with Soul      Paramandana
10.30am - 4.30pm
A day of meditation focussing on the body and heart. Paramananda is an experienced and much-loved meditation teacher and the author of several books. He has a contemporary voice and accessible way of communicating the Dharma and meditation, and emphasises the body and the imagination in our practice.

7 November      Family, Ancestry and Sangha        Cittavasin
Using meditation, ritual, movement and music to connect with our past, our familial and spiritual ancestors

Pujas consisting of chanting beautiful and evocative mantras of a particular Buddha or Bodhisattva and making offerings.
