Booking, Payments and Donations

Please note that full payment must be made to secure a place on a course.

Online Payments

Online payments can now be made through 'PayPal'. Where there is a 'Pay Now' button under a course you can click and be directed to the PayPal site where you can pay with your credit or debit card. If the course is full you will be redirected to our home page. In this case you may wish to telephone us (Mon - Fri 12.30 to 2.30pm, Saturday 11.00 to 1.30pm) as there could still be places bookable over the phone.

Cheques

Cheques should be made out to "Brighton Buddhist Centre". If sending a cheque as payment please include a note /letter stating what course/event you are paying for, your name, address, telephone number and email address in case we need to contact you.

Credit Card or Debit Cards

We accept card payments at the Centre or over the phone. The telephone is always answered during our reception times: Mon - Fri 12.30 to 2.30pm,
Saturday 11.00 to 1.30pm
. We try to answer the phone between 9.30 and 4pm Monday to Friday, however we cannot always answer the phone due to other commitments. If you leave a message will will return your call.

Concessions

We offer concessions to full-time students and those on job seekers allowance. Our Meditation and Buddhism courses also offer a mid-rate concession to people on low incomes and we are willing to negotiate.

Donations

The Brighton Buddhist Centre relies on income from classes, courses and donations. Please give generously to support the Centre and its activities for the wider community in Brighton.

‘Gift Aided’ donations and regular Standing Orders are greatly appreciated. If you give us a Gift Aid Declaration Form (click to download) we are able to claim back some of the tax you pay, thus increasing the value of your donation by at least 25%.

You may wish to consider including the Brighton Buddhist Centre (charity no. 27368) in your will. If you have not had a will drawn up yet or you want to make alterations to an existing one there is a free service offered at regular intervals. See www.freewillsfortnight.org.uk
