Introducing the Brighton Buddhist Centre

The Buddhist Centre has been teaching meditation and Buddhism in the city since 1974. Activities are directed by members of the Western Buddhist Order, founded in 1967 by Sangharakshita. It is one of over 80 Centres worldwide linked by a common approach to make Buddhism and meditation accessible as a living tradition in our fast changing world. We welcome people of all cultures and heritages.

Reception

Drop in to talk about our activities between 12.30 and 2.30pm weekdays and pick up a brochure giving details of our courses, classes and events. View the Centre and browse in our specialist book shop. We have an extensive collection of images and books on meditation, yoga and Buddhism. We also sell incense and cards.
